How can one distinguish the true faith when many have innocent and strong convictions?
All of them have admirable truths
All of them have a hierarchy or position of power
Buddhism attracts the apathetic
Islam attracts the angry
Judaism attracts the super cautious
Hinduism attracts the drama seeker
Christianity attracts the hopeful
Does Christianity warrant hope?
They all want to gain obedience. Many believe if you don't know better, you deserve less. They look for natural talent.
Can liars tell the truth? Yes. Why lie? Grandisement, Impression, and then authority or entertainment.
A historical authority would not permit entertainment but maybe political influence. There are the following factions in all societies:
Anarchist- for a psychological appeal
Criminal- to permit crime
Perennial- to not overburden
Progressive- to serve money
Security- to serve talent (stratify)
Hence the common attitude of "need to know basis" and "live and let die" that leads to people being selfish, despondent, and cruel.
The religions and politics can be compared but benevolence usually goes to the Catholic church. Yet even they don't explain everything well which suggests that a Capital Aristocracy is in charge. Otherwise, all of our opinion, education, and access would matter. Access to an earthly paradise must be bought. Good luck finding heaven. And what separates the talented and damned? Your obedience, apathy, and economic demand. You are here to serve THEM and if you are lucky you can become one of THEM.
Why bother stating this? Why not propagate that there is 'no answer' and just go to work? Because if you can't get it now, you won't get it in the future. If we don't have freedom AND answers we don't have humanity. Democracy just isn't about power but right to information which fulfills all our lives and saves us from materialism. Which brings us back to the theme. All religions have truths, but like the many factions, none of them are as fulfilling as the Catholic Church.
Money doesn't buy innocence.
